We Have Relaunched the Infrastructure LA Website
To better serve our clients and community, we’ve updated the look and feel of our website. We have added industry news and grant information to aid LA County in finding the resources they need to help us grow into the California we all love. Hop on over to the site and see what we’ve been up to.

FEMA BRIC: Major Opportunity for LA County Resilience Projects
FEMA’s FY 2024 & 2025 Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) program is now open, with $1 billion available nationwide for hazard-mitigation projects that protect public infrastructure and reduce future disaster losses. The program is especially relevant for LA County agencies and jurisdictions advancing projects related to flood, wildfire, seismic, and other natural-hazard resilience, particularly those that are ready to implement and can show clear, measurable risk reduction.
Project subapplications in the National Competition may request up to $20 million in federal funding. In California, local applicants move through the state process, and project readiness, benefit-cost justification, and hazard-mitigation plan compliance will be important for early considerations.
Current deadline is July 23, 2026

AHSC Round 10 NOFA: Housing + Transportation Opportunity for LA County
California’s Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) Round 10 program is now open, with approximately $750 million available for projects that pair affordable housing with transportation and infrastructure improvements that reduce greenhouse-gas emissions. For LA County jurisdictions, developers, and agency partners, AHSC is especially relevant for transit-oriented projects that improve access to housing, jobs, and key destinations through investments in walking, biking, and low-carbon transportation.
Applications are due May 4, 2026, by 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program (TIRCP) Cycle 8
California’s Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program (TIRCP) Cycle 8 is now underway for projects that modernize the state’s rail, bus, and ferry transit systems and help reduce greenhouse-gas emissions, vehicle miles traveled, and congestion. For LA County, this is a strong fit for major capital projects tied to transit expansion, system modernization, ridership growth, service integration, and safety improvements.
CalSTA’s current schedule lists project applications due May 18, 2026.
Award announcements expected no later than September 18, 2026.
