The U.S. Department of Transportation has unveiled another funding opportunity for communities nationwide with the announcement of the 2024 Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) discretionary grant program. With a substantial $1.5 billion in grant funding available, the RAISE program supports impactful transportation projects at the local and regional levels.

Biden-Harris Allocates $2 Billion for Community-Led Environmental Impact
In a landmark move, the Biden-Harris administration has committed $2 billion through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Community Change Grants.
Designed to empower community-led projects for clean energy, climate resilience, and environmental justice, this initiative, part of the President’s Inflation Reduction Act, marks the largest-ever investment in environmental justice.
