Drive Towards a Sustainable Future with DOE and FMCSA

  • Join the Department of Energy (DOE) for a series of webinars covering topics such as EV charging infrastructure, renewable energy, and energy efficiency.
  • The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is offering $180 million in funding opportunities to bolster commercial driver safety and implement innovative technologies.
    • Applications are due April 19.

Build Resilience and Efficiency with DOE and EPA

  • Discover how you can contribute to building resilience and improving efficiency with the DOE’s second funding opportunity of $90 million. This initiative supports the implementation of resilient and efficient energy codes, helping lower consumer costs.
    • Concept papers are due April 5 and full applications are due June 6.
  • Additionally, the EPA’s Clean Ports Program offers two competitions totaling $3 billion, focusing on zero-emission technology deployment and climate and air quality planning at ports.
    • Applications are due May 28.

Empower Workforce and Conservation Efforts with DOE and DOI

  • Empower your workforce and contribute to conservation efforts with the DOE’s $24 million in funding for new Industrial Training and Assessment Centers. These centers aim to support job training and enhance productivity in small and medium-sized manufacturers.
    • Applications due May 16.
  • Meanwhile, the Department of the Interior (DOI) and partners announce $119 million for conservation and restoration projects through the America the Beautiful Challenge.
    • Applications are due April 4.

Promote Safety and Innovation with DOT and FHWA

  • The Department of Transportation (DOT) is offering over $1.25 billion for FY 2024 Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grants. These funds will support initiatives to prevent fatalities and serious injuries on roads involving all roadway users.

  • Additionally, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) launches two new programs under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, focusing on prioritization processes and congestion relief initiatives.
