Safe Streets and Roads for All Webinars
The Department of Transportation is hosting a series of webinars on the Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant Program. Metropolitan planning organizations, counties, cities, transit agencies, special districts, and federally recognized tribal governments are eligible to apply. Applications are due by September 15, 2022.
Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Proposed Rulemaking
The Federal Highway Administration announced a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on proposed minimum standards and requirements for projects funded under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program. This program will provide funding directly to states and not localities. However, these minimum standards and workforce requirements will impact how infrastructure gets deployed in local communities.
