Summer Engagement Series

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is hosting a Hazard Mitigation Assistance 2022 Summer Engagement Series. FEMA will host ten webinars that will provide important information on the following programs: Hazard Mitigation, Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC), and Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA).

The series will occur August through October via Adobe Connect.

Safe Streets and Roads for All Amendment

The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) published an amendment to the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Notice of Funding Opportunity. The amendment is technical in nature and the changes affect selection criteria, application requirements, and the post-award grant administration requirements.  The deadline for applications, September 15, 2022, remains unchanged.

SS4A Underserved Communities Census Tracts Tool

The USDOT concurrently published a new SS4A Underserved Communities Census Tracts Tool to be used for SS4A Action Plan and Implementation Grant applications.

Volunteer

The USDOT is establishing the Transforming Transportation Advisory Committee (TTAC). The Department is searching for 25 individuals to serve for 2 years on the TTAC to advise Secretary Buttigieg on transportation innovation. Nominations are due by August 19, 2022.
